Statins are effective in lowering LDL-C levels and are the gold standard for treating hyperlipidemia. However, research has shown that the achievement of targeted LDL-C goals and the optimization of lipid-lowering therapy (LLT) in ASCVD patients remain suboptimal. During this CME lecture, Dr. Wu will offer guidance on individualizing statin and non-statin therapies in this context and address the prevailing inertia to enhance outcomes.
